Acupuncture & Moxibustion
Hair-thin needles systematically stimulate fascia, nerves, and muscle tissue to activate your parasympathetic state and turn off the feeling of "fight or flight" - inviting the body to heal.
Moxibustion the technique of burning Japanese mugwort on the body to give substance and warmth to areas that need nourishment and energy.
Cupping & Gua Sha
Physical symptoms sometimes need to be physically relieved. Cupping, either with fire or with vacuum, works by bringing stagnant blood out of circulation, allowing the body to remove the waste and new blood to flow. Gua Sha is the modality of using a tool along oiled skin to scrape out stagnation, commonly to release muscle knots.
Herbal Medicine
Herbs and minerals can be prescribed, either in raw form to be cooked at home or prepared into a powder or capsules for convenience. Formulas are completely customized for each patient to provide continual healing outside of the treatment room for a low cost. They can be picked up at the San Diego clinic or shipped to your home for a low price.

Hello,
My name is Andres Velasquez and I am a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, licensed acupuncturist, and herbalist. Born and raised in San Diego, I am delighted to help my community heal, grow, and build strength. I received my doctorate of Chinese Medicine and acupuncture (DACM) at Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego, where I continue to work as a teaching fellow when I am not treating patients.
My mission as a medical practitioner is to help the community so that they can help their neighbors in return. This can only happen by helping patients reach their desired potential; physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
